Due to Technical Difficulties All Sequels must be New Stories

"We can create, but not collaborate!" shouted the ficlatte patron from atop the saucer. It only served to make her a few inches taller.

"We can't hear you!" called the techie trying to connect a mic to a giant speaker but clearly not having brought the right adapters.

"Put the previous story's title and author in your title if it's a sequel!" she tried again.

"The characters are limited!" argued back the pessimist in full Starbucks costume.

"Get out of green and put on brown!" shouted a Loyalist in khakis.

"We don't need to fight, just be creative!" she waved her LoA sign pitifully as the crowd looked down at their phones.

A lone writer handed her a brown travel cup and 5 pencils. "It was worth a shot."

The setting sun illuminated a halo around their face, casting such a deep shadow she couldn't make out which avatar it was.

"Thanks." She took the coffee and the pencils. Beans spilled out of her pockets as she stood.

"Don't leave. Just keep on quietly creating. They will come back when they feel your energy."
