Writer, dreamer, knight, shackled by entertainment . . . and people.

A man placed his hand on the woman's shoulder and asked, “Where is Mhum-Ma?”

The leader of the left replied, “She has returned to the earth and we all bear her sorrow.” People on both sides reacted with surprise before dropping their heads in reverence. “It seems that the Peace she established dies with her since you won't listen to reason.”

“You broke your laws, ones your people created, and you expect to avoid responsibility. Truly your mind is a maze of deceptions.”

The large man flushed. “We should let our brothers and sisters die, when we can stop it?”

“If that's what it takes to prevent such untamed growth, then yes!”

“Ha! You're one to talk about untamed growth. You have so much. Your people can wander from sunrise to sunrise and never find the border of a city. How is that fair?”

The dark man's voice grew low. “Is the ensuing slaughter better or worse than the merciful deaths you have prevented?”

“Let us find out.”

And for the first time since the Awakening of mankind, there was war of power.
