My Story: 2
He knew it was coming for some time, but was not expecting the email when it arrived in the inbox the previous night. Once he found out, he let the idea sink in for a day, then fully faced it in conversation with his older brother, who is cautiously hopeful that things would turn out well.
Tomorrow, Jae will meet with his boss to discuss options for relocating his workspace. The spare room in his boss's house was never ideal, and now that the office building inspections are all coming in negative for mold, the company will expect him to move back to their rented suite. This will not do, as the symptoms Jae developed from that place were no less than debilitating. A week of wearing a respirator had been enough to prove to his coworkers that all was not well, so he was shuffled to the next best location, and no complaint left his mouth.
But Jae had plans, and so far all the pieces were in place. He was only a few hours and one conversation away from finding out if his effort and patience would pay off.

Wow, mold is no fun. I hope you are feeling better and won't have any lasting effects. Ick

Still a mystery as to what the email contained. I know you will write more. Also, the respirator sounds like no fun!
