- Always too hard on myself
I looked at her eyes. It was the first time during the whole day that I actually got to look into them long enough to see the happiness pouring out of her soul. Dolphins could swim in them if only I could figure out a way to shrink them. They were the deepest and most beautiful shade of blue. It pierced through my soul like an arrow through a straw target.
We swayed back and forth to "Forever Young" by Alphaville. It was our song. It was released the year we were born, but somehow it had still managed to become our song. It was serendipity, I suppose, if you are one who is inclined to believe in such things. I never was before, but sometimes you change your mind about things. Maybe not all the way, but you become more open to things that used to sound like hippy-dippy romantic comedy stuff. Something about Lizzy made me not only want to believe in such things, but actually start to see that maybe there were inklings of truth to it occasionally.
The song came to an end, but we'd be dancing together forever.

Awww... so sweeet. My favorite is the dolphins in her ocean eyes, because I love dolphins and I have blue eyes. They are closer to gray most of the time, but when I am wedding happy, they get brighter.
