Forward the Torchbearers
“When we walk, we put one foot in front of the other. Each step forward we take is one that matters. If you are able to advance a yard, a foot, even an inch, then congratulations, you're still alive and doing us proud. Holding the line is good and it has served us well but now we must push back. When we move forward, the darkness retreats. We carry the burden, the responsibility, and the privilege of light. We are civilization and we are still needed. The darkness is all around us. It might blanket the entire world. We will remind allies and enemies alike that light still exists, and--we. Will. Fight!
"Once, we bore lanterns but the Enemy took them away from us, foolishly thinking because we relied on them we couldn't live without them, but they cannot take our light! They thought by stripping us of our most precious of tools, the Lantern, we would shrivel up, die, and trouble them no more, but we showed them. We persisted and took up the Torch. We are Torchbearers and humanity lives or dies with us.”
