Tamori Taka: Communion with the spirits of the world
I have been HS Wift for the longest time now, through some of the darkest hours I have known, and it warms my heart to know that the light that led me through lives on still.
May it never die.
Leneya approached the door. She could hear the sound of her husband meditating within.
"Kami, O wise and powerful Kami, I beg an audience. My heart is in turmoil, and I find myself in need of guidance."
Turmoil. Leneya smiled. She felt light tremors in the ground, and the candles in the room began to flicker.
"I thank you for your audience. My child, my daughter, Taka, was born with signs of ill fortune. She is a small child, with unnatural hair and mismatched eyes. My mind says I should take the child's life, and save her a life under this stigma, but my heart fills with love to see the child smile. My wife advocates the sparing of the child, my father says to kill it. I beg you guide my hand to the truest course."
"I can appreciate that, though I had hoped for clear instruction. I find myself at a loss."
"True enough, I had not considered it like that.
Leneya heard Heru rise. "So, did the Kami set your heart at ease?"
"They said that I'd already provided the answer that I seek."
