Inspiration hits with a flash, stories written on the go. A rumble of laughter and the tale is heard only in echoes. The wind blows me in a new direction. Whom shall I visit next?

This is such an interesting use of format, telling the story one sentence at a time. You really have to consider every word within each part...
I think, for me, this one and the "Shoveling in the Copse of Dead Aspens" are the most effective as stand alone works.
