Character Profile: Tamori Taka

HS Wift

I have been HS Wift for the longest time now, through some of the darkest hours I have known, and it warms my heart to know that the light that led me through lives on still.

May it never die.

'Unusual' is a word often used to describe Tamori Taka.

Wearing a kimono of green and gold, befitting a Dragon Shugenja, she would stick out in a crowd of peasants, but what makes her stand out among Samurai starts higher up.

Uncommon enough to see such vibrant red hair outside of the Lion clan, and the Tamori certainly don't know of any Kitsu blood in their heritage, the single streak of black that courses through her hair is truly unique. Tied back by a single strip of purple cloth into a maiden's foxtail, her hair is also undeniably beautiful.

The sight of her hair draws any observer to the soft, gentle features of her face - her small nose, everpresent smile and deep green eye so full of wonder, all in stark contrast to the strip of fraying indigo cloth that conceals her left eye. The improvised eyepatch hides no scar, but a spectacular purple eye which, to the people of Rokugan, is seen as an omen of misfortune.

'Unusual' is a word aptly used to describe Tamori Taka..

This is the character I am creating for a game I will be participating in. It uses the compelling Rokugan setting created by AEG for their Legend of the Five Rings RPG and CCG.

I'm not entirely happy with this, I may revisit it later, though I will probably write a detailed backstory for the character as well. I will also probably post character profiles for other characters I am working on for other games, and maybe some for characters from games past, I'll see how I feel.
