Sertraline Dream #3: I Broke My Laptop

Abstract

I used to write on Ficly.

This laptop has served me well over the past few years, ever since I picked it up from the on-campus IT store. This makes it all the more depressing when I manage to break it.

I don't know how I did it, exactly, but a piece of plastic that shouldn't exist has broken off the right side of the frame near the keyboard. My curiosity manages to break more. At any rate, the plastic has taken on a yellowed tinge. I can see the silicon chips with data ports built into them, recessed about a half-inch into the frame…which makes no sense, since I have no ports on that side of the computer, but whatever.
