Lampyris Noctiluca

Lampyris Noctiluca

This made me think: there are three narrative persons (I, you, he/she/...), but there's also the first person plural, we. That seems to work between first and second person, since it can mean both you and I (and maybe others) OR myself plus someone else. This creates some interesting ambiguity. Thus, the possibilities become four, times three verbal tenses (present, past, and - why not - future), for a total of no less than twelve different ways of narrating the same story.
