Time in a Bottle

Challenge

Challenge Deadline: 4 Mar 2020

Time has been captured in a small space. A month seems to hold a year, and there seems to be no way forward, no way to break the endless cycle. Write about the scenario. Tell us what is happening, either to the world around your characters, to the characters themselves, or both. If they can break the bottle, how do they do it? How do they react to the bottle? What circumstances led to the bottle in the first place. This is almost certainly an inherently speculative fiction piece, but bonus credit will be awarded if you can break into another genre altogether.

I'm giving a month to complete this challenge in the hopes that we'll see more participation that previous challenges. Who will step up and attempt to earn a coffee bean?

Wooo! I'm sorry, I had really intended to come back and enter another, but I didn't quite get to it.

It's all good. I'm just glad we had some participation for this one.

I meant to come and do this at all, but the time leading up to the end was unexpectedly exhausting. I did enjoy reading the three entries, though. They were fun.
