Behind-the-scenes site updates
Arms, legs, the usual.
I also seem to be running the site.
I may get around to writing some actual stories at some point.
Jim has been hard at work and, as usual, I have been too busy to listen. I've put my insomnia to good use tonight, though, and I have pulled in his latest updates. If everything worked, you should not notice anything at all, but his work has tidied up the code considerably, and will make it much more easy to maintain.
As ever, thanks, Jim for your hard work, and sorry it has taken me five months to get around to doing this update.
In other news, the fine folks at Pepperfish have replaced the server hardware that was giving us some grief, so we should be back up and reliable now.

The site looks good. My commendations to the both of you for your hard work.
I have a question about what happens behind the scenes. At Ficly, there was an atom feed for stories and related information. I was able to use this to write programs to bundle stories together into epub-format ebooks, so that I could load them onto my e-reader and read the stories offline. Does this incarnation provide a similar capability?

Not yet, but it will eventually. Syndication is on my to-do list of future features.

Bug report - the "author's prompt text" field isn't being correctly shown. I wrote one for "Tube Alloys" (#41634), but it isn't being shown. Older stories do correctly show prompt text.

I'll take a look at it here at some point. I haven't done much with development lately. Too much life stuff coming at me all at once recently. But I'll try to get back to the codebase here at some point in the near future. I've got a branch I want to finish developing and testing that'll add some cool additional social features.

Additionally, the "Inspiration" title of the text box where the prequel text lies when you're writing a sequel has the word "Inspiration" spelled incorrectly!

Noted and squashed. It'll go out with the next pull request.
