Don't Forget to Challenge Yourself
I dabble a little in a lot of things — writing, webcomics, gaming, photography, web design, music, and more. I’m a full-time code-wrangler with far, far too much to do.
I just wanted to take a moment and remind you about our Challenges. Right now we have two active Challenges, one by Robert Quick called The Less Said that offers the opportunity to write a story about the proverbial elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about. (And right now, my story is the only entry in the Challenge. I'd really rather not win it by default, so a few more of you need to pick up that gauntlet and give Robert something to actually judge before the Challenge closes this Friday.)
The second open Challenge is mine, You're All Talk, that wants you to focus on writing a story that's solely dialogue. Writing conversation that feels natural between two or more characters is sometimes a thing that writers struggle with, so a Challenge like this is a perfect opportunity to practice your dialogue skills while presenting an interesting story.
Take a risk, accept a gauntlet (or two), and most of all, keep writing!

Been too tired to write lately. Hopefully today is a turning point.

Participating in these actually jump started my muse again. Thanks for the push, Jim.

I will keep posting challenges and prompts until I get too tired to do so.

Please do, Mr. Quick. The more reasons we have to write, the better, in my opinion.
